EXPEDITION TO ANTARCTICA – THE FROZEN CONTINENT
JANUARY 2019BOOKING NOW
Be transformed on the edge of the Planet and explore the magnificent pristine seventh continent on our next expedition to the most spectacular and remote place on Earth – The Antarctic Peninsula.
Become one of the adventurous few to cross the Antarctic circle and explore the frozen kingdom and to see the land of 24 hour Antarctic Light. Get a close-up of the incredible scenery of floating ice-bergs and ice fjords and the rich wildlife of the peninsula.
Prepare to be entertained by penguins and enthralled by whales as you are mesmerized on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The friendships you make on this trip are priceless.
This is a 13 day excursion to Antarctica that takes place from December. We start our expedition from Santiago, Chile. Unlike other tour operators, we prefer flying to our destination on King George Island from Chile rather than sailing across rough seas of the Strait of Magellan. A quick 2 hour flight takes us to the King George island where we board our state-of-the-art ship, the Ocean Nova, and begin the voyage to the frozen continent. We slowly sail South exploring breathtaking scenery and observing the wildlife.
This trip is led in partnership with Earth Expeditions and it’s our fifth trip to this magic place. Two award-winning photographers, Robert Knight and Jay Bransfield will be your guides on this journey. If you wish to capture breathtaking images of wildlife and some of the finest landscapes on Earth, we are here to help. This is not a photo exclusive trip, and all are welcome.
